The pointer doesn't point directly at the axis of the wheel. Does the tip of the pointer or the shaft indicate my fate? (Am I "dead meat"?)

I thought this was going to be a mash-up video of Thunderdone video and "Wheel of Fortune" audio.

Have you ever seen the "Spin the Choice" episode of King of the Hill?

I do vaguely remember that, but thanks to the Interwebs, here's Peggy Hill's description:

"Well, the game is pretty straightforward. You can choose to spin or you can choose to choose. If you choose to spin, you can land on spin, or choice, or lose a spin, or lose a choice, or free spin, or free choice, or spin again."

She should be writing THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO TEXAS HOLD 'EM FIZZBIN.

Of course, as the creepy gameshow host Dr. Dealgood in MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME says:

"All our lives hang by a thread.
Now we've got a man
waiting for sentence.
But ain't it the truth?
You take your chances with the law.
Justice is only a roll of the dice. . .
. . .a flip of the coin,
a turn of the wheel."

I'm putting on a huge Road Warrior themed event in the California desert this November! I would love to have this wheel on my web page somehow! Is there a way to get the code for it? Details about the event are here:

Thanks so much!

Well, in the movie MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME, Tina Turner played "Auntie Entity", the ruler of Barterstown, which is where that Post-Apocalyptic "Wheel of Fortune" is from.

So Auntie's Choice is presumably whatever option she wants. Since she's the head Bad Guy in the movie, Auntie's Choice is probably not good.

However, in the movie, when Max is subject to The Wheel (after he "breaks a deal", by refusing to slay his opponent in the Thunderdome), the random spin of the wheel comes up "Gulag."

A normal definition of a gulag would be a Siberian prison camp during the time of the Soviet Union. But, in this, they tied Max to a donkey, and then, had a stick with a flask of water dangling from it attached to the donkey's head. The donkey wandered out into the desert, trying to get to the water, until it keeled over dead. Max was then able to...eventually...make his escape, but hopelessly lost in the desert.
